Since I’ve started with Dan, I’ve just been amazed at [my] ability to do things I didn’t know I had. It wasn’t hard to move to the other section [of the gym] because I was taught what to do. … Dan explains how to use things. I know why I’m doing the things I’m doing, how to do them. I’ve never felt dumb or silly with any questions that I’ve asked. It’s been a really positive experience and I feel like I’m seeing results, I feel more confident. I’m more self-aware.

I have done several different workouts with other people and I would say what I like most--what I appreciate most here--is that Dan actually pays attention to what you are doing. I have learned over the years that form is everything and it’s so important to have good form when you’re working out. I have hurt myself multiple times because I am sure I didn’t have good form. Personally, I think he is the best trainer I have worked with because he’s not preoccupied on his phone or doing other things. He’s actually paying attention and making sure that you’re using proper form. I appreciate it.

Dan is a very skilled wellness coach, and I’ve really enjoyed my sessions with him. He’s very personable and has an approachable nature, so his coaching feels more like having a conversation with a friend than a coach, which put me at immediate ease. In addition to offering practical advice to incorporate in my everyday routine to reach my wellness goals, Dan has helped me think about my current habits in a new light and facilitated in the process of finding solutions to my challenges that fit with my lifestyle. I was fortunate to receive coaching from Dan as he helped me through challenges that were haunting me for years and leading to the same cyclic behaviors that lead to stress and low confidence. If I did not have the support from Dan to do internal reflection and talk out my issues, I may not have been able to overcome them.
